                                       Our Thanks

Thanks to the 2011 volunteers from Proctor & Gamble, Brockville, who carried in half the lumber needed for the third new bridge on the BM trail (just at the foot of Blue Mountain).  The bridge should be finished in the early summer.

We were grateful to receive a generous donation from the Charleston Lake Association to renovate the floating bridge at Slim Bay, a vital part of the Westside trail loop. Park staff  have replaced a majority of the barrels, and will be able to replace others as necessary

We wish to thank our corporate members and donors, and we hope that members will patronize them when possible:

Howard Campbell & Sons, Lyn ON
Lyndhurst Home Building Centre, Lyndhurst ON
Lansdowne Freshmart, Lansdowne ON
Forman Farms Greenhouses, Seeley's Bay ON

Thanks also to those who made donations to the Friends to help with our operations in the past year.

All lake users owe a debt of gratitude to the Charleston Lake Association and its Safety Committee for providing and installing the buoys and shoal markers on the lake.

Thank you
