The Friends operate a small nature gift shop (store) which is located in the Visitors Centre.  Sales at our Visitor Centre store help provide exhibits for visitors to the Park.

Friends members ($15.00 for family memberships) get a 10% discount. Come browse in air conditioned comfort and see some very interesting nature displays located in the same building including a live Black Rat Snake, the longest snake to be found in Canada. You might like to purchase a canoe raffle ticket or try our free-for-a-day fishing rods.

The store is open from the last weekend in June through Labour Day, 7 days a week from 11:00am-5:00pm.

Although small in size the store offers a wide variety of items including warm camp sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps, Charleston Lake coffee mugs, buttons, etc. and small items for kids; a big favourite is our bright iridescent ‘I Brake For Snakes’ t-shirt. Numerous nature books are also available as well as two friend s sponsored publications ‘The Hunters and Gatherers of Charleston Lake’ and ‘Live and Let Slither’.  We accept cash Visa Cards and cheques.
