Please note that we are the Friends of Charleston Lake Park and we cannot book campsites. To book a campsite at Charleston Lake Provincial Park, please go toreserve a camping spot.
Also Note: If you are coming to the Park from the Ottawa or Cornwall areas, where concentrations of the Emerald Ash Borer have been found: this destructive insect has not been found in the Park.
Please do not bring ash firewood with you.
We have winners in the Canoe Draw: The canoe winner is Jill Smith, of Roslin, Ontario. She and her husband were camping in the Park for the first time, and had decided to buy a canoe and come back again. The second prize winner is Bob Pearson, of Erin, Ontario.

Our 2012 Raffles
This year, to raise money to support the Park’s many recreational
and educational activities, we are holding 2 raffles.

Scott 16' Elite Kevlar Canoe
1. Our canoe raffle, with a Scott 16' Elite Kevlar Canoe as 1st prize, with a $300 camping
package as 2nd prize.
2. An art raffle, with a print of Tomahawk Rock as the prize. This is a 43”x36” framed, limited
edition print, valued at $600, of a painting by acclaimed artist Sheila Ballantyne. Tomahawk Rock
is a Park landmark, located on Big Bluff Island in Charleston Lake. The print will be on display at
the gatehouse beginning 11 May or or visit The Inspirations Art Gallery website.
Tickets for each raffle cost $2.00 apiece or $5.00 for 3.
They will be available beginning 11 May at the Park Gatehouse, the Friends’ Store, and local
venues
including Ribfest and craft fair in Gananoque, Harvest Day in Lansdowne and the
Lyndhurst Turkey Fair.
The winners of our 2011 canoe raffle were Andrew Silver of Toronto and Joe Cvitovic of Montreal .
The winner of the camping gear was Cathy Donnelly of Tweed, Ontario. Her family has made a tradition of camping in the Park on Thanksgiving Weekend, where they love walking the trails. She was particularly anxious to win the camping gear, and insisted to her family that she had in fact bought that winning ticket.

office, from the gate house (when open), at
